Based on a true story.
A commune is created right after the end of Franco’s dictatorship. Breixo, a young seminarian is seduced by the idea of an alternative lifestyle and helps the young people to rehabilitate an abandoned village despite hostility from the neighbouring village. Looking for return to rural life and doing without private property the dream starts to become true. But after a serious misunderstanding between Breixo and Sonia, a member of the commune, he finally leaves. Thirty-three years later, that life experience has fueled his success as a writer but he still feels the void left by Sonia and the eternal values defended by the commune.
